There is a great relationship between these two factors as they come one after the other troubling the patient. However if we can curb on cholesterol then we can expect to attain very good health. It has been the main cause of suffering and death. Let us take a look.

In the past, people had a healthy diet and they lived for a long time. And some continue to live for about 100 years or even more that. Many say that the food that they had only nutrition and never had anything called Cholesterol. In fact at that time, people believed in having a healthy diet.
But today’s world is very different from theirs. The junk foods have conquered us and we are doubling the cholesterol intake everyday. This is especially in the case of children who fall for all these foods. Not only this we all love the oily ones as they are fried and give a great taste. But little we realize how dangerous they are, much more dangerous that a cigarette itself!!! So think again before you take food items twice. They can give you temporary happiness due to their taste but they turn in to poison inside your body affecting your health badly!

The Cholesterol that we take is of two types, Low density Lipoproteins (LDL) and the High Density Lipoproteins (HDL). The Low Density Lipoproteins are the ones that are dangerous and cause problems. In fact many doctors claim that they are responsible for causing lousiness in the patient’s bodies. The High Density Lipoproteins are the good ones according to the medical world. They in turn help in draining out the cholesterol in our body and helps in controlling the levels of Cholesterol. The higher the High Density Lipoprotein levels in your body, the lower the cholesterol levels in your body.
General Methods of Prevention:
The methods of prevention are simple, just listen to your heart and follow the simple things that you need to do like being active physically. Try to give short walks in your workplace instead of being seated the whole day fully. Also you can go for morning walks which gives peace and happiness. The other thing that you can do is to make sure that you consume food that is low in cholesterol, saturated and trans fat. So it is in our own hands to prevent diseases like Hypertension, Arrhythmia etc.
Also keeping a constant weight is very necessary for maintaining good health. The optimum weight for a particular age should be maintained always to stay fit. Also the other important thing is to stay away from smoking as it can single handedly destroy one’s health. So think twice before holding a cigar!
