Heart Diseases have always troubled mankind for a long time. Many deaths nowadays occur due to cardiac disorders and other types of cancers like Heart Cancers which are not so deadly yet significant in causing problems. Let us study about some of the most common heart problems.

Atherosclerosis:

Another disease that can be avoided, this is a severe problem affecting the arterial arteries of the heart which supply blood to the whole body. The problems that arise is the narrowing of the arteries supplying blood to the heart sometimes due to the accumulation of white blood cells or mostly caused to accumulation of fatty deposits in the form of Cholesterol causing sufferings to the patient. Changes in the lifestyle can help preventing the disease.

Congestive Heart Disease:

It is a dangerous disease of the heart as it may suddenly cause the loss of flow of blood to the heart. The loss of flow may arise due to several reasons. It does not immediately result in death as the heart continues to function though it may cause severe aftershocks in the form of symptoms like shortness of breath, dizziness and of course chest pain.

Arrhythmia:

This is a disease associated with irregular beating of the heart and causes problems that trouble the patient very badly. This disease is associated with symptoms like chest pain and the patient themselves can easily sense that their heart beat is irregular and they feel that their hearts skip a beat. This is true in the case of this disease.

Heart Cancer:

Not many know about this disease as it is very rare and affects only one fifth of the world’s population. Unlike other types of cancers which are deadly, Heart Cancer is one of those diseases which are annoying but not that life threatening. But there is no significant reason behind the development of this disease as it is very rare. So there seems to be no preventive method to stay away from this disease.

The soft tissues near the heart are the birth places of the cancerous cells which proliferate and attack the heart. This type of cancer is called as sarcomas. Also other cancers like Lymphomas can also spread to the heart as they occur near the chest. The other types of Cancers also include Melanomas and Sarcomas which are again not so threatening. Though many say that these cancers are not so dangerous, there may be some problems after some time. It includes stiffening of the heart muscle thus making your heart strain more. Also it may affect the valves of the heart causing Endocarditis. Also Caner treatments should be given carefully as direct exposure of the radiations to the chest may cause damage to the heart muscle.
